Does the idea of seeing the world’s most prestigious and illustrious vehicles lined up fender to fender set your heart racing? Then the Park Place Luxury and Supercar Showcase is right up your alley.
Imagine top-of-the-line rolling sculptures from prestigious marques, like Bugatti, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maserati, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover, just waiting for you to selfie to your heart’s content.
You also can rub elbows with auto-mobile and racing industry experts like Park Place Motorsports driver Patrick Lindsey and his No. 73 Porsche 911 GT3R, a screamer you really don’t want to miss. (The car, not Patrick; he’s a nice young gentleman.)
But wait, there’s more! What would a ritzy car show be without a chance for local folks to show off their mighty rides, too? The juried Concours Invitational Car Show will feature vehicles from private collectors. Awards will be given in four categories: Supercar, Luxury, Sport and Classic. Trophies are given for “Best of Show,” “Chairman’s Choice” and “People’s Choice” winners. (Have a car you’d like to enter? See above.)
Not into cars? No worries. Check out specialty boutiques with upscale fashion offerings by the Brad Oldham Studio Store, Bachendorf’s, Niven Morgan, Sovaro and others.
Your best bet? Pony up for the VIP all-access pass and sample culinary delights from the Four Seasons’ Law Restaurant and Outlaw Taproom, Dallas Chop House Burger and Dallas Fish Market, as well as selections from Cool River Café’s new menu featuring a collaboration of chefs Kent Rathbun and Fernando Rodriquez. You’ll also get drink vouchers for celebratory sips from Absolut Elyx and Perrier-Jouët, along with other crafted cocktails from Pernod Ricard in the VIP lounge.
Proceeds benefit the Momentous Institute, an organization committed to building and repairing children’s social emotional health so they can achieve their full potential. Owned and operated by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas since 1920, the institute serves more than 6,000 children and family members annually through its nationally acclaimed Momentous School and innovative Therapeutic Services. Momentous Institute also invests in research and professional training, including the annual Changing the Odds Conference, to reach far more children than it could ever serve directly with trauma-informed strategies that strengthen social emotional health.
