6th Ave Homes is launching an in-house interior design team with the help of two hometown heavy-hitters in the design field, Gretchen Herb and Christine Zeiler.

Herb comes from Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Homes in Waco, where she served as designer and project manager on many “Fixer Upper” properties. The Fort Worth native is a Baylor grad with a degree in interior design.

Zeiler is owner of Fort Worth-based Christine Zeiler Interiors and brings experience in residential, commercial and event design. Her work has been published in Better Homes and Gardens.

With a passion for mixing texture, scale and color, Zeiler believes true design success lives in the little details.

You may remember the story from our February issue of the two charming young gentlemen who started 6th Ave Homes.

Founded through a shared passion of restoring older homes, friends and neighbors Jamey Ice (guitarist for Green River Ordinance) and Jimmy Williams (a Fort Worth detective), have flipped nearly 40 properties since 2014.

Offering simplified à la carte packaging and prices, the 6th Ave Homes’ business model is to first “Meet Up” (to learn the homeowner’s vision for the property), then to “Team Up” (with the perfect combination of experts to make the homeowner’s dream a reality) and finally to celebrate with “Glasses Up.”
