“Newlywed Kitchen,” a Martha Stewart cookbook, offers start-from-scratch advice to newly married couples on creating the perfect pantry.

Martha gives advice on the best canisters to buy, the most important spices and seasonings a newly married couple should stock, and which cookware, bakeware and utensils to invest in to start your kitchen.

The book contains over 100 recipes for quick meals as well as the perfectly orchestrated special occasion feast.

For example, the Turkey Day chapter provides instruction on how to cook the bird, as well as recipes for dinner accompaniments, right down to the dessert.

A must-have for a couple starting a new household or for someone whose New Year’s resolution is to do more cooking, the hardback retails for $40 and is available locally at Anthropologie.

It is also available online and as an e-book. The cookbook is published by Clarkson Potter.
